Recent advances in computational materials science and theoretical quantum physics and chemistry, coupled with the power and speed of modern supercomputers, enable CySilicoTech to study novel materials from a first-principle viewpoint. CySilicoTech is a startup company that brings expertise in the field of rational materials, catalyst and drug-design. We use state-of-the-art computational tools, quantum mechanics and cluster computing to support our clients research and development activities. In addition to these important research activities CySilicoTech provides educational and consulting services in various fields related to the enironment and renewable energy.
Our company name is an abbreviation of the phrase Cyprus In Silico Technologies where In silico means "performed on computer or via computer simulation" , in analogy to the Latin phrase in vivo that refers to experiments done in living organisms.
